NJ January 2026 Revenue Hits $1.03 Billion
New Jersey reported $1.03 billion in January 2026 sports betting handle and $16 million in state taxes, keeping NJ among the top three US markets.
The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement released its January 2026 sports betting revenue report this week, showing $1.03 billion in handle and $146 million in gross gaming revenue. State tax receipts came in at $16 million for the month.
FanDuel led the operator revenue board followed by DraftKings, BetMGM, and Caesars in the customary Big Four ranking. The 19.75% online tax rate that took effect July 2025 is now in its seventh full month and continues to deliver elevated state revenue versus the prior 13% rate.
NJ remains consistently among the top three US sports betting markets by handle, behind only New York and Illinois.
